Chicago Landmark Watercolors
About Pablo Bottari-Tower
"'To sip life slowly in order to be fully present', is how I view my calling. This requires looking holistically at my surroundings. Trained as an architect, I enjoy reflecting that back on to paper using texture, color, orientation, line, surface, solids, and voids. My intent is to capture a cityscape moment emphasizing movement, excitement and grandeur."
Pablo has 10 years of experience as a professional registered architect with the State of Illinois, NCARB certified, LEED accredited professional, BPI Energy Analyst and Envelope professional Certifications. Is also a member of Spudnik Press a printmaking studio located in Chicago where he has attended classes and produces some of his work. Otherwise he can be found outside drawing "en plein air", creating panoramic watercolors of Chicago. His original watercolors are in private collection in Barrington and Chicago, Illinois.
Has traveled and sketched throughout the Americas and Europe, this helped developed his artistic sensitivity, multi-lingual and multi-cultural skills. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational Italian. Most importantly is a devoted husband and a father of four children.
